シアトル校 スタッフ紹介 ボブ・ズィングリー ボブ・ズィングリー
Bob (Robert) Zwingli
ESL Program Coordinator (SCC)

Bob was born in a small town in New Jersey, close to New York City. As a junior in college he was an exchange student in Nottingham, England, and lived with a host family. After the exchange program finished he spent three months backpacking through Europe and fell in love with travel and learning about other cultures. After college, he taught English in Thailand and spent more than three years there. During his first year in Thailand he again lived with a host family. Bob also traveled through Asia, Africa and Europe and eventually decided to settle in beautiful Seattle, Washington.

Bob received a Masters degree from the University of Washington's Jackson School of International Studies in 1993. After graduation he became one of the first ESL teachers in the HTC program at Shoreline Community College. He has really enjoyed the opportunity to work with and get to know all the students who have come to study in Seattle over the years.

Nowadays, Bob spends his free time hiking, watching movies, doing home repair, and traveling whenever he gets the chance. In 2000, Bob got married to Lauren, a former HTC teacher. They live together with their cat, Mickey in Seattle. They celebrated their first anniversary traveling in Japan, and someday hope to return together to visit all the places they didn't see the first time.
